National Initiatives Updates

Black Resilience Network

One year ago, the Black Resilience Network founding members partnered with the DHS Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships to host the 2023 Climate Resilience Roundtable. This was the first time that there was a convening at the White House focused on climate resilience in Black communities. In our April Update, we should have some great news to share for a 2024 convening.

Elder Wellness & Care

Boston Resilience Corps members and our team provide food deliveries and other resources to over 100 Black elders in the City of Boston each month. We call to check on them and if they need food that month, we bring them perishable and shelf stable groceries. We also organize focused in-person wellness checks at senior housing developments with the Boston Resilience Corps members. Please feel free to call us at (617) 675-0005
